Jonathan Tomkin BL is a barrister practising in administrative and commercial law with a specialisation in European Union law and the law of the European Convention on Human Rights.
Prior to joining ICEL, Mr Tomkin spent a number of years working at the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg as a Référendaire (legal adviser) in the Chambers of Mr Justice Juhasz. Mr Tomkin has also worked as a Legal Officer at the Permanent Bureau of the Hague Conference on Private International law in the Netherlands and at McCann FitzGerald solicitors in Dublin.
