Notice to Members - Launch of the Members' Area of the Web-site and the Centre's Digital Archive

The Irish Centre for European Law is delighted to announce that Members of the Irish Centre for European Law will now be able access to the Centre's Digital Archive containing papers and presentations delivered at past seminars and conferences. Documents can be located by reference to Subject, Date, Title, Author or Keyword.

In order to obtain a user account to access the Members' Area of the Web-Site, Members are invited to email the Centre at icel@tcd.ie (Please note that this faciltiy is reserved to paid-up members of the Centre).

We thank you for your continued Membership and Support of the Centre and always welcome feedback on how we can improve the services we provide.

 

Welcome

The Irish Centre for European Law is based in Trinity College, Dublin and was founded in 1988 by Dr Mary Robinson, former President of Ireland and United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.

The Centre is a neutral body that seeks to promote knowledge, understanding and the good practice of EU law and European Human Rights law. It is operated on a not-for-profit basis.

Guided by an expert Board, the Centre produces conferences, seminars, courses and publications of quality in specialised fields of European law.

Its members comprise solicitors, barristers, academics and interested persons. The Centre also welcomes corporate members, including, law firms, government departments, non-governmental organisations and universities, public bodies and agencies, as well as businsses who operate in areas affected by EU law. 

The Centre's Chairman is The Honorable Mrs Justice Fidelma Macken, Judge of the Irish Supreme Court and a former Judge of the Court of Justice of the European Union.

The Centre's Director is Nathy Dunleavy BL, a practising barrister at the Irish Bar.

Arguing EU Law, International Law and Constitutional Law before National Courts (2 February 2012)
