When the Centre was founded by Mary Robinson she intended to create,
"...a unique linkage between legal practitioners, academic lawyers and representatives of the wide range of sectors affected by European Law."
While many of our members are lawyers, all are welcome.
Membership is split into four different categories: Corporate; Individual; Library; and Overseas.
Corporate members enjoy the benefits of membership on a corporate basis. It is geared to the needs of professional partnerships, limited companies and public bodies which have a number of partners/executives who wish to benefit from the Centre's activities.
Corporate membership costs €395per annum
Individual membership is open to all members of the public. It is of greatest benefit to sole practitioners, consultants, academics, employees and all persons who wish to keep abreast of developments in European law. Individual membership is available at reduced rates for students, full-time academics, and legal practitioners in their first 5 years of practice. (Associate Membership).
Individual membership costs €180 per annum
Associate Membership costs €50 per annum
Library membership affords libraries and research institutes the possibility of receiving ICEL periodicals and of purchasing ICEL publications at a discount
Library membership costs €76.00 per annum.
Overseas membership is open to individuals resident outside Ireland and Northern Ireland.
