Fundamental Social Rights : Current European Legal Protection & the Challenge of the EU Charter on Fundamental Rights.
This publication is the result of a conference on the theme held on 29th September 2000. It contains discussions of the place of fundamental social rights in the market economy, as well as an appraisal of national, European and international legal instruments which aim to protect social rights. Finally, it discusses the content and status of the European Union Charter on Fundamental Rights.
