The Competition (Amendment) Act 2022 has introduced significant reforms to merger control in Ireland enhancing the regulators’ powers and broadening their functions. 

Following on from the successful conference in September 2022, A New Law – A New World, ICEL and A&L Goodbody’s series on the 2022 Act, will continue with a two-hour webinar on reform of merger control under the 2022 Act from 15:00 to 17:00 on Thursday 14 December 2023.

Chaired by Dr Vincent Power SC, Partner, A&L Goodbody, the webinar will feature contributions from Ibrahim Bah, Director, CCPC and Stephen Abram Assistant Legal Director, CMA, in addition to contributions from practitioners and experts.

This webinar will review key developments, their potential implications and look at how similar provisions have been implemented in the United Kingdom.
