The Irish Centre for European Law’s annual Privacy and Data Protection Law Conference will be held on Thursday 15 June 2023 from 10:00 to 16:00 (registration from 9:30) in the Royal Irish Academy, 19 Dawson Street and streamed live online.

Speakers will include Dr David Fennelly BL on recent judgments of the Court of Justice of the EU, Eileen Barrington SC on developments in international data transfers, Rebecca Keating BL of 4 Pump Court data protection in the United Kingdom post-Brexit.

The Centre’s annual Privacy and Data Protection Conference returns for its eight year and at a time of significant developments in this fast-moving area of law. As we approach the fifth anniversary since the General Data Protection Regulation came into effect, the regulatory landscape continues to evolve with significant judgments, regulatory enforcement and major legislative initiatives affecting the technology sector.
