Data Protection and Privacy in 2021 – Are you Ready?

Matheson and the Irish Centre for European Law (ICEL) are delighted to invite you to join a webinar on the topic of “Data Protection and Privacy in 2021,” which will be held at 11 am on Thursday, 29 April 2021.
The webinar will address the implications of the decision in Schrems II for international data transfers; recent trends and decisions across Europe imposing fines in respect of data breaches; and recent trends in regulatory and data breach investigations conducted by the DPC.
The event will be chaired by Mr Justice David Keane of the High Court of Ireland. Speakers will include some of Ireland’s leading experts on data protection, including:
- Anna Morgan, Head of Legal and Deputy Commissioner, Irish Data Protection Commission
- Professor Catherine Donnelly SC, Law Library and Trinity College Dublin
